MOSCOW -- David Horsey of England defeated Irelands Damien McGrane in a playoff on Sunday to win the Russian Open, his first European Tour title in three years. Horsey rallied after making double-bogey on the 12th hole with an eagle on the 17th and then par on the final hole to finish level with McGrane at 13-under 275 at the end of regulation. The Englishman then two-putted for par on the 18th hole in the playoff, while McGrane found a greenside bunker and took a bogey. McGrane made seven birdies in the final round, but failed to close out his first victory in six years in his round of 66. It was the second time in Horseys career that he has been in a playoff and the second time hes come out in front after winning the 2011 Hassan 11 Trophy at Agadir, Morocco, in similar fashion. "Its a big relief to win and very much like my last win in Morocco when I also made a mess of a couple of holes on the back nine," said Horsey. "But standing on 17 I really didnt know where I was in the tournament so after hitting my ball through to the back of the green I realised I was three behind and needed to do something drastic and quite quickly. "So chipping-in for eagle was a great help and then thought I needed to make birdie at the last but not realising Damien (McGrane) had dropped one there at the last." Horsey led after the opening two rounds and went into the final round tied for the lead. "To win is very special as its been a while since I won in Morocco, and also its been bumpy road along the way since then," he said. Scotlands Scott Jamieson shot a 69 to finish third at 12-under 276 with Sam Hutsby (6Cool of England another shot back in fourth. Peter Whiteford (75) of Scotland rounded out the top five with a 278. After giving up three points in the second end, Calvert came back with a single, then stole two more points in the next two ends to tie it up at the fifth-end break. Luis Gonzalez Jersey . "It was a little weird looking over and seeing all the green uniforms," he said of his first game against the Boston Celtics. http://www.diamondbacksapparelsshop.com/nick-ahmed-jersey-c-27/. Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks were proof of that on Wednesday night. A. J. Pollock Jersey . Winnipeg trailed by five points in the final minute when quarterback Drew Willy completed a 13-play, 75-yard drive with Feoli-Gudinos 18-yard touchdown catch on third down to lift the Bombers to a 34-33 victory over the Montreal Alouettes on Friday night. Robbie Ray Jersey . Ilonen birdied five of his closing seven holes in superb scoring conditions to end the day with a two-shot lead on the Fota Island course. Ilonen had just 26 putts on the occasion of his 300th European Tour event.NEW YORK, N.Y. - Rafael Montero earned his first major league win, Eric Young Jr. went 3 for 3 with an RBI triple and the suddenly surging New York Mets beat the Colorado Rockies 2-0 Wednesday night for their fourth consecutive victory. Montero (1-3) returned from the minors and allowed three hits over 5 1-3 innings in his seventh big league start. Juan Lagares had a sacrifice fly for the Mets, who have won seven of eight. New York finished a three-game sweep of last-place Colorado, winning the final two by identical scores behind Montero and fellow rookie Jacob deGrom. Montero did not give up a hit until a fifth-inning double by Rockies starter Tyler Matzek. The right-hander struck out seven and walked two, throwing 106 pitches in his first major league start since Aug. 17. Mets rookie Dilson Herrera worked a two-out walk against Matzek (5-10) in the second. Young followed with a drive to right-centre that just glanced off the glove of centre fielder Drew Stubbs, scoring Herrera. The triple was Youngs fourth of the season and his first extra-base hit — and RBI — since Aug. 24. The Rockies threatened in the sixth after a leadoff double by Stubbs and a single by Justin Morneau put runners at second and third. Montero struck out Nolan Arenado on a high fastball, the last batter he faced. Dario Alvarez retired Chris Dickerson on a dribbler in front of the plate, and Carlos Torres induced a popup to shortstop from Michael McKenry. Torres gave up a hit in the seventh, Jeurys Familia worked the eighth and Jenrry Mejia rebounded from a shaky outing Tuesday to finish the four-hitter.dddddddddddd. Mejias perfect ninth gave him his 25th save in 28 opportunities. New York added a run in the seventh after Herrera drew his second walk from Matzek and went to second on Youngs single. Pinch-hitter Josh Satin walked, and Herrera scored on Lagares fly to left. Matzek gave up two runs on four hits and four walks in 6 1-3 innings. TRAINERS ROOM Rockies: OF Michael Cuddyer was rested by manager Walt Weiss after playing in back-to-back games following his activation from the disabled list.
